Froyo activity was even hotter in June than in May. We found 61 new businesses serving froyo (including froyo shops and businesses that serve froyo but are not primarily froyo shops) in 26 countries, compared to 57 new businesses in 22 countries serving froyo in May.
The United States had the most openings, with ten, although three of these were rebranded existing froyo shops. Australia and Malaysia tied for second, with six openings each.
Sour Sally in Indonesia, Yo-Chi in Australia, and Llaollao, had the most openings, with four each. Yogen Fruz opened three new branches in Panama.
Sadly, we also found nine froyo shop closings. Two of these were moves, and three were rebrands.
