In September, we found 55 new froyo-serving businesses in 26 countries, a significant decrease from the 67 new businesses serving froyo in 27 countries in August. The Philippines reclaimed the top spot, with eleven openings. Australia and the United States had the second most openings, with seven each.

August Froyo Openings and Closings
In August, we found 68 new businesses serving froyo in 27 countries, compared to 59 new businesses in 28 countries that serve froyo in July. The United States had the most openings for the third consecutive month, with twelve, followed by Indonesia with nine, and a tie between the Philippines and Australia, with six apiece.
June Froyo Openings and Closings
Froyo activity was even hotter in June than in May. We found 60 new businesses serving froyo (including froyo shops and businesses that serve froyo but are not primarily froyo shops) in 25 countries, compared to 57 new businesses in 22 countries serving froyo in May.
November 2022 Froyo Shop Openings & Closings
The pattern of openings and closings in November was similar to October. We found 41 froyo shop openings in 18 countries in November, compared to 42 openings in 18 countries in October.
